Mumbai, Oct. 10 -- The net assets under the management (AUM) of the Indian mutual fund industry at the end of September 2025 stood at Rs 75.61 lakh crore, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI). This is slightly lower as compared with the figure of Rs 75.18 lakh crore recorded in August 2025.

The AUM of open-ended plans rose to Rs 75.35 lakh crore in September 2025 from Rs 74.93 lakh crore in August 2025. Investors continued to be drawn to equity plans in this category, with net inflows of Rs 30,421.69 crore.

Within equity, Flexi Cap Fund drew the most significant inflows in September, attracting Rs 7,029.26 crore. Mid Cap Funds followed suit with inflows of Rs 5,085.40 crore, while ELSS saw net outflows ...
