Mumbai, Dec. 31 -- Base metals slumped today,sliding amid volatile trades. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1294.15 per kg, down 3.20% on the day. The counter has broken under Rs 1300 per kg mark and has given up the sharp gains seen in last session. MCX Aluminum futures are down 0.84% to trade at Rs 296 per kg. MCX Zinc futures slipped 0.70% to trade at Rs 306.85 per kg. MCX Lead futures also shed 0.25% to trade at Rs 182.90 per kg.
