Mumbai, May 4 -- Base metals saw choppy action today. MCX Copper futures for May are trading at Rs 1281 per kg, down 0.09% on the day. The counter eased after nearing Rs 1286 per kg in early trades today. MCX Aluminum futures added 0.35% at Rs 370.20 per kg. MCX Zinc futures edged up 0.06% to trade at Rs 343.60 per kg. MCX Lead futures are trading at Rs 199.70 per kg, up 0.15% on the day. MCX Nickel futures gained 0.19% to trade at Rs 1843.50 per kg.
