Mumbai, Sept. 23 -- Base metals are mostly witnessing lax action today. MCX Copper futures are trading at Rs 1409.60 per kg, down 0.39% on the day. The counter tested lows around Rs 1407 per kg mark before turning higher but looks choppy. MCX Aluminium futures shed 0.47% to trade at Rs 346.60 per kg. MCX Zinc futures slipped 0.71% to trade at Rs 431 per kg. MCX Lead futures added 0.18% to trade at Rs 197.25 per kg. MCX Nickel futures are flat at Rs 1606 per kg.
