Mumbai, March 5 -- Precious metals are supported today though Silver has seen intense volatility. MCX Gold futures are trading at Rs 161914 per 10 grams, up 0.24% on the day after hitting a high above Rs 163000 per 10 grams. MCX Silver futures tanked in negative zone in afternoon trades, sliding near Rs 260000 per kg. The metal rebounded and currently quotes at Rs 267999 per kg, up 0.92% on the day.
