Mumbai, July 29 -- MCX Gold futures for October drifted lower today and currently trade at Rs 142548 per 10 grams, down 0.26% on the day. The counter hit a high above Rs 143400 per 10 grams before easing and saw a modest rise in open interest. MCX Silver futures fell 0.19% at Rs 215433 per kg. Volatility was high for the counter as it hit Rs 219000 per kg in afternoon.
