Mumbai, Sept. 3 -- The aforementioned facility would increase the company's sports-footwear capacity by 150% to 2.5 lakh pairs per month. Lehar plans to further scale this capacity to 5 lakh pairs per month in a phased manner.

The facility uses automated fifth-generation manufacturing technology. This is expected to improve production efficiency, consistency and quality control. The company has also established an in-house design studio. This allows Lehar to work with OEM customers at the product-design and development stage, rather than only at the manufacturing stage.
