Mumbai, May 22 -- The Reserve Bank of India on Friday raised Rs 32,000 crore through the auction of government securities, with robust investor demand seen across the 6.03% GS 2029, 6.68% GS 2033 and 7.24% GS 2055 papers.

The RBI had notified Rs 11,000 crore each for the 6.03% GS 2029 and 6.68% GS 2033 securities, along with Rs 10,000 crore for the 7.24% GS 2055 bond.

The 6.03% GS 2029 attracted 129 competitive bids worth Rs 28,275 crore against the notified amount of Rs 11,000 crore. The cut-off price was set at Rs 98.30, translating into a yield of 6.7310%.

The weighted average price for the security stood at Rs 98.36, while the weighted average yield came in at 6.7059%. The RBI accepted 61 competitive bids amounting to Rs 10,995.13 ...
