Mumbai, Aug. 12 -- The government is set to raise Rs 24,000 crore through the auction of Treasury Bills on Wednesday, comprising Rs 9,000 crore of 91-day T-Bills, Rs 8,000 crore of 182-day T-Bills and Rs 7,000 crore of 364-day T-Bills.

The 91-day paper attracted competitive bids worth Rs 29,412.03 crore against the notified amount of Rs 9,000 crore, implying demand of about 3.27 times the issue size. The cut-off yield stood at 5.2624%, while the weighted average yield was 5.2533%.

The 182-day T-Bill received competitive bids worth Rs 22,241.25 crore against Rs 8,000 crore, translating into demand of about 2.78 times the notified amount. The cut-off yield stood at 5.5390%, while the weighted average yield came in at 5.5257%.
