Mumbai, June 19 -- The Reserve Bank of India on Friday raised Rs 32,000 crore through the auction of four government securities, including a sovereign green bond, with investors submitting bids worth nearly Rs 98,517 crore.

The auction comprised Rs 11,000 crore each of the 6.03% GS 2029 and 6.68% GS 2033 securities, along with Rs 5,000 crore each of the 7.24% GS 2055 and 7.50% Government of India Sovereign Green Bond (SGrB) 2056.

The 6.03% GS 2029 attracted 106 competitive bids worth Rs 37,549 crore against the notified amount of Rs 11,000 crore. The cut-off price was set at Rs 99.52, translating into a yield of 6.2300%.

The weighted average price stood at Rs 99.62, while the weighted average yield came in at 6.1876%. The RBI accepted ...
