Mumbai, Aug. 28 -- Gold futures traded little changed around $4,660 an ounce on Friday as investors awaited Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole speech for clues on the US interest-rate outlook. Gold is on track for a strong 15% monthly gain, supported by lower yields, dollar weakness, safe-haven demand and speculative buying, while concerns over US debt risks have further boosted its appeal. Silver has outperformed, surging more than 20% this month on strong industrial demand and a structural supply deficit, with both metals also benefiting from expectations of easier monetary policy. In India, MCX October gold futures rose 0.2% to Rs.1,59,262 per 10 grams, while silver futures jumped more than 1% to Rs.2,43,132 per kg.
