Mumbai, Aug. 14 -- Global sugar prices surged to highest in around one year on concern about a weather-related decline in global sugar production in Europe. Brazil and India's output trends also remained a concern and the commodity zoomed near 17 cents per pound. Prices are up around 14% this month.
