Mumbai, April 17 -- WTI oil prices lingers near $90 per barrel mark on Friday amid optimism of a possible end of US conflict with Iran. US President Donald Trump also said on Thursday that Israel and Lebanon had agreed to a 10-day ceasefire and that the US and Iran will probably meet over the weekend for a second round of negotiations. However, any signs of escalating tensions in the Middle East could boost the WTI price in the near term. Currently, the counter is quoting at $90.04 per barrel, down 1.4% on the day. Brent oil is also staying pressured at around $98 mark.
