Mumbai, Sept. 1 -- Crude oil prices continue to surge following a fresh wave of hostilities in the Middle East that has renewed fears over potential disruptions to regional energy flows. President Donald Trump has reportedly warned of potential military action against Kharg Island, which serves as Iran's primary oil export hub. Compounding the pressure on global energy markets, drone and missile strikes on Russian refineries have squeezed overall refining capacity. Currently, the counter is trading at $86.66 per barrel, up more than 1% on the day while Brent is up over $91 per barrel mark.
