Mumbai, Oct. 23 -- The US manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) moved up 56.0 in October, indicating continued expansion at a slightly faster pace. This surpassed previous reading of 55.9. A PMI above 50 signals expansion. However, the preliminary October services PMI stood at 57.9, down from the previous reading of 58.8.
