Mumbai, Oct. 5 -- Manufacturing activity in the United States improved in September compared with the month before, with the sector seeing its highest level since May 2022, S&P Global said in its final report published on Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rose to 55.9, up from 53.9 in August, with production and new orders increasing as domestic demand strengthened.
