Mumbai, Aug. 26 -- House prices in the United States increased by 0.3% in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the previous quarter, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) revealed in its report on Tuesday. On an annual basis, US house prices rose by 2.1%.
Among the nine census divisions, the New England division showed the largest quarterly increase in seasonally adjusted home prices, climbing by 0.93%, while the Pacific division was the only one that recorded a quarterly decline, with its seasonally adjusted house prices decreasing by 0.41%.
Meanwhile, the 12-month changes in house prices ranged from a 0.02% increase in the Pacific division to a 4.5% rise in the East North Central division.
