Mumbai, Aug. 13 -- The United Kingdom's trade deficit in goods and services widened by £0.3 billion to reach £8 billion in the three months to June, according to figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Thursday.
Exports increased by £5.5 billion in the reported period, while imports rose by £6.7 billion. The goods trade deficit expanded by £1.2 billion to £60.7 billion, while the services trade surplus widened by an estimated £0.9 billion to £52.7 billion.
