Mumbai, Sept. 25 -- United States Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond President Tom Barkin stated on Thursday that inflation became more persistent during the summer. He also noted that the US labor market is stable, but new job growth is slow. Barkin has stated earlier in the week that the central bank's fight against inflation is far from over and price pressures once dismissed as temporary are proving stubbornly persistent.
