Mumbai, Sept. 8 -- Japan's trade deficit on the balance of payments (BOP) basis widened to Euro399.9 billion in July from the previous month's deficit of Euro135.2 billion, the country's Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report Tuesday.
Exports went up by 24.1%, while imports increased by 25.9% from the same month a year ago.
