Mumbai, July 30 -- Germany's seasonally and calendar-adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.2% in the second trimester of the year, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) said in its preliminary report issued on Thursday. Compared to the same period of 2025, the figure increased by 0.9%.
The document noted that private and government consumer spending remained "subdued," while investment declined. According to the report, exports increased compared to the first quarter of 2026.
