Mumbai, July 20 -- Producer prices in Germany rose by 1.8% in June compared to the same month in the previous year, the country's statistical office Destatis revealed in its report on Monday. The figure decreased by 0.3% compared to May.
The annual rise in producer prices in the reported month was mainly attributed to an increase in intermediate goods, which climbed by 5.1% year-on-year, followed by energy prices, which advanced by 0.4% compared to June 2025. Capital goods and durable consumer goods grew by 2.1% and 1.8%, respectively, on an annual basis, while non-durable consumer goods declined by 2.2%.
