Mumbai, Oct. 1 -- The German manufacturing sector continued expanding in September, although at a slightly slower pace than in August, S&P Global said in a report on Thursday. The manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) came in at 53.9 in September, down 0.4 points from the previous month. Output increased significantly, as new orders grew. Expectations also improved, almost reaching levels seen before the Middle East conflict.
