Mumbai, Oct. 8 -- The German trade surplus came at €19.5 billion in August, down from the adjusted €21.6 billion recorded in July but higher than the €17.6 billion recorded in August 2025, the country's Federal Statistical Office, Destatis, stated today. The country's calendar- and seasonally adjusted exports stood at €137.6 billion, decreasing 0.8% on a monthly level and up 6.2% year-over-year. Imports stood at €118.1 billion, up 0.9% month-on-month and growing 5.5% on an annual level.
