Mumbai, Aug. 17 -- China's surveyed urban unemployment rate rose to 5.2% in July from 5.0% in June. Unemployment among migrant workers increased to 5.2% from 4.9%, pointing to softer labour-market conditions. The rate across 31 major cities also climbed to 5.2%. However, the January-July average remained steady at 5.2%, unchanged from the first six months and the same period last year.
