Mumbai, July 9 -- China's consumer price index (CPI) went up by 1.0% in June from a year earlier, narrowing from May's's 1.2% rise, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Thursday.
On a monthly basis, prices fell 0.3%, following a 0.1% decline in May. Factory-gate prices improved, with the producer price index climbing 4.1% from a year earlier, after last month's 3.9% increase.
