Dollar index retreats below 102 mark
Mumbai, Oct. 9 -- The dollar index is retracing below 102 mark on Friday from near four and half month highs tracing a corrective move in US Treasury Yields. 10-year US Treasury Yields are down 0.23% to near 5.22% after oil prices cut some advance, following remarks from President Donald Trump pointing to optimism on US-Iran diplomacy. Meanwhile, Fed Governor Christopher Waller said on Thursday that further rate hikes would likely be needed, but added there was "flexibility" about the pace of increases and left the door open for a pause in October. DXY which measures the greenback against a basket of currencies is quoting at 101.73, down 0.20% on the day. EUR/USD and GBP/USD are both gaining in tune with dollar losses and stand at $1.266 ...
