Mumbai, Aug. 24 -- COMEX Copper futures consolidated around one-week high after a recovery in last week. The red metal is currently trading at $6.61 per pound, up 0.35% on the day amid mixed global equities. Stock market dipped in Asia. China's Shanghai Composite index eased 0.59%, testing around three-week low. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index tanked 1.89% while Japanese Nikkei index fell 0.74%. European stocks edged up modestly. The US stocks ended on a firm note on Friday after data showed continued economic resilience and a sharp acceleration in services-sector activity. The Dow rose around 0.98%.
