Mumbai, March 5 -- The US Energy Information Administration or EIA stated yesterday that US crude oil refinery inputs averaged 15.8 million barrels per day during the week ending February 27, 2026, which was 180 thousand barrels per day more than the previous week's average. Refineries operated at 89.2% of their operable capacity last week. Gasoline production increased last week, averaging 9.3 million barrels per day. Distillate fuel production increased by 61 thousand barrels per day last week, averaging 4.8 million barrels per day.
