Mumbai, May 21 -- The US Energy Information Administration or EIA stated in a latest update that crude oil refinery inputs averaged 16.3 million barrels per day during the week ending May 15, 2026, which was 80 thousand barrels per day less than the previous week's average. Refineries operated at 91.6% of their operable capacity last week. Gasoline production decreased last week, averaging 9.3 million barrels per day. Distillate fuel production increased, averaging 5.0 million barrels per day.
