Mumbai, March 9 -- Precious metals speculators slightly increased their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 23338 contracts in the data reported through March 3, 2026. This was a weekly increase of 1078 net contracts and pushed up net longs marginally from one-year low.
