Mumbai, June 15 -- Precious metals speculators cut their net long position in the Gold futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Gold futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 173837 contracts in the data reported through June 9, 2026, sliding by 2183 contracts from the previous week. The net longs have dropped from near four-month highs.
