Mumbai, Oct. 5 -- The ASX 200 ended little changed at 8,686 on Monday, as gains in technology, consumer durables, and industrial services were offset by losses in utilities, retail, and consumer goods. Early gains faded as weaker US stock futures and higher Treasury yields weighed on sentiment ahead of the release of the Fed minutes later this week.

Australia's Monthly Inflation Gauge rose 0.3% month-on-month in September, its smallest increase in three months. The softer reading suggests tighter monetary policy is helping ease price pressures, although inflation risks remain.
