Mumbai, Sept. 8 -- ACME Solar has placed an order for 2 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) with leading global energy supplier Chuzhou Lishen New Energy Technology Co. The order was made through POSCO International Corporation and China FAW Group Import and Export Co, the company said in a filing today.

The order will be delivered in phases over the next 6 to 10 months and will be used in ACME Solar's Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) and standalone BESS projects, which are planned to be commissioned within the next 12 to 18 months, it added.
