10-year US Treasury yield eases near 4.60%, labour market shows signs of cooling
Mumbai, Aug. 5 -- The US Treasury yields continued to move lower Wednesday, as recent slide in crude oil prices weighed on sentiments. The 10-year US Treasury note yield eased near 4.60%. The longer-dated 30-year Treasury bond yield, which is more sensitive to geopolitical risks, was also down marginally at 5.16%, coming off highest in nearly two-decades. WTI Crude oil tested around three-week low following this. The US labour market continued to soften as June JOLTS job openings came in at 7.359 million, marking the lowest level since March.
