Nairobi, Oct. 28 -- After losing his father and four other close family members in separate road accidents within 11 months, Saveer Vohra, CEO of the Vohra Group, which runs the Sarova chain of hotels, learned why family businesses must prepare for the day their founders are no longer around.

His father died in a road accident in November 2017, when he had just completed his Master's degree and his younger brother was studying in the United Kingdom.
