Nairobi, April 7 -- The number of profit warnings issued by corporates listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has now hit eight in the current financial year, marking an escalation amid tough economic times.
Nairobi Business Venture (NBV) has become the latest company listed on the bourse to issue a profit warning, underscoring a tough business operating environment prevailing in the country.
NBV said it anticipates its total earnings for the financial year ending March 2026 to fall by at least 25 percent, meaning its net profit will be below Sh24.1 million compared to Sh32.2 million in the previous financial year.
