Nairobi, Nov. 3 -- The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is set to borrow up to Sh12.99 billion in the short term to fund new investments in Kenya.

The global financier sometimes funds its investments using local currency loans as part of a strategy to hedge against potential losses arising from adverse foreign exchange movements.
