Nairobi, Sept. 27 -- Representative offices of foreign banks in Kenya recorded a 15.8 percent drop in value of transactions in 2025 on reduced cross-border payments and project financing business.

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) said in its bank supervision annual report for 2025 that the nine representative offices conducted business valued Sh210.9 billion ($1.6 billion) last year, down from Sh250.6 billion ($1.9 billion) in 2024.
