Crown Paints profit rises 74pc to Sh948m on increased sales
Nairobi, May 25 -- Crown Paints Kenya has posted an after-tax profit of Sh948 million for the year ended December 2025, marking a 74.2 percent jump from Sh544 million in 2024, driven by higher sales and lower costs.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE)-listed firm will pay a dividend of Sh3 per share, unchanged from last year, after sustaining profitability for a second straight year following its return to profit from a loss in 2023 when it suspended dividend payments.
The new dividend will be paid on August 31 to shareholders who will be on record as of June 26.
Its sales rose by Sh2.5 billion to Sh15.9 billion from Sh13.4 billion in 2024, while costs declined as seen through improved margins.
