Nairobi, Oct. 13 -- The High Court has declined to enter summary judgement against spirit maker London Distillers (K) Ltd over a Sh27.8 million debt claimed by a Swiss supplier, allowing the company and its affiliate to defend the suit at a full hearing.

The court dismissed an application by Tradall SA, a Swiss subsidiary and global operations hub of the Bacardi Group, which had sought payment of $214,777, together with interest and costs, from London Distillers (K) Ltd (LDK) and London Distillers (EA) Ltd.
