Nairobi, June 10 -- Milk processor Brookside Dairy has paid out Sh255 million to its contracted farmers in the half-year to May 2026, under a scheme that rewards producers for quality, and for surpassing supply targets.

The bonus is a top-up of the regular payments to producers for milk delivered to the processor and is part of a strategy to encourage quality in the supply value chain.

The reward, which is in addition to payments made for milk deliveries, aims to mainstream clean milk production.
