Nairobi, April 14 -- Singapore-based international lodging owner-operator the Ascott Limited has expanded its footprint in Nairobi with the signing of a new hotel facility planned for construction in Kilimani.

The 160-room hotel, to be branded Citadines Westview Nairobi, will open in early 2028 and operate alongside the existing Somerset Westview Nairobi serviced apartments, all run by Ascott. Britam Holdings will invest in the Citadines Westview Nairobi project through its property and asset management arm and also stand in as a real estate backer.
