Water crisis hits Ompora says AIP's Hubbi
Budgam, July 11, July 12 -- Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) Senior Leader Javed Hubi has urged the Jammu and Kashmir Government to take immediate steps to resolve the acute drinking water shortage affecting several localities in Ompora, Budgam. In a statement issued on Saturday, Hubi said that residents of Railway Colony, Hajam Mohalla, Parayangan, and Bazar Mohalla have been facing an acute scarcity of potable water for a considerable period, forcing them to struggle for their daily water needs.He said the authorities had assured the public that the issue would be resolved, but the promises remain unfulfilled.
