Uri, May 3, May 4 -- In an emotional reminder of the human cost of the Line of Control, a family separated by the Kishanganga River witnessed a rare cross-LoC moment as grief transcended borders during a funeral that brought together divided relatives in spirit, if not in physical presence. The deceased, identified as a resident of the border region, had family members on both sides of the LoC, leaving close relatives in Pakistan-administered Kashmir unable to physically attend the last rites.
