Poonch, August 12, Aug. 12 -- An unidentified woman's body was recovered from a river in the Mora Bachhi area of Surankote in Poonch district on Wednesday. Officials said a police team reached the spot shortly after receiving information about the body floating in the river. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. Police said the body will be shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Surankote, for completion of legal formalities and post-mortem examination. An investigation has been initiated to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the circumstances and cause of death.
