Srinagar, Oct. 4 -- India's latest rebuttal to Pakistan at the United Nations is a reminder that the diplomatic contest over Jammu and Kashmir remains far from over. Exercising its Right of Reply at the UN General Assembly's Third Committee, India rejected Pakistan's references to Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated that the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India. New Delhi also accused Islamabad of using the Kashmir issue to divert attention from its own domestic challenges and the situation in Pakistan-administered areas.
