Sopore, May 16, May 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted raids at over 15 locations in Baramulla district on Saturday in connection with an Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) case linked to the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) network, officials said. Search operations were carried out in Bomai, Warpora, Sopore and Turzo areas with the assistance of security forces as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged illegal activities and suspected links with the banned organisation.Officials said the raids aimed to verify suspected associations and collect evidence related to the case.
