Budgam, Aug 10, Aug. 10 -- The Wildlife Department has captured two leopards in the Lakhripora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district, bringing relief to residents concerned about their presence in the locality. The leopards were captured during an operation launched by the Wildlife Department following reports of their movement in the area. Their presence had caused apprehension among residents, particularly those living in areas where the animals were reportedly spotted. Locals expressed relief after the successful operation and appreciated the intervention by the Wildlife Department. A Wildlife Department official said the captured leopards will be relocated and released into their natural habitat.
