Budgam, July 29, July 30 -- Residents, tourism stakeholders and visitors have urged the administration to reopen the tourist destinations of Yusmarg and Doodhpathri, which remain inaccessible due to restrictions, saying the prolonged closure has affected local livelihoods and tourism activities. The picturesque destinations in Budgam district, known for their meadows, forests and scenic landscapes, attract thousands of tourists every year.
